At Gentle Canines Daycare & Boarding in Singapore, we believe every dog deserves more than just a place to stay—they deserve a place where they feel safe, understood, and genuinely loved.

Gentle Canines was inspired by our own beloved dogs, Guinness and Cola, whose initials form the name “GC.” Although they have since crossed the rainbow bridge, their love and legacy continue to guide everything we do. They taught us that every dog is unique, and that belief is at the heart of how we care for every guest.

Our founder also brings years of hands-on experience as a co-founder of SOSD, where caring for dogs of different breeds, personalities, backgrounds, and medical needs reinforced one important lesson: every dog deserves patient, compassionate, and individualised care.

That’s why we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routine, energy level, and preferences, ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, and at home. We also provide medical boarding for dogs requiring medication, recovery support, or closer monitoring, giving owners peace of mind while they’re away.

Enrichment is central to everything we do. Through structured play, sensory activities, mental stimulation, and positive social interactions, we help dogs stay engaged, confident, and happy throughout their stay.
